This Skechers heart-rate monitor communicates with iPhones and iPods through a Bluetooth connection and free fitness app, which allows runners to gauge the intensity of their workouts. While exercisers run through the neighborhood, their mobile devices display their average and maximum heart rates so they know when to speed up, slow down, or wake up from a nap in the neighbor’s bushes.
